Add missing features from Wiki markdown editor to file markdown editor

Feature Description

Is there any way to have the same markdown editing features from the wiki section for general .md files in the repository? The code editor is great for everything except markdown files.

No, the image I sent is the editing functions that would be nice for general md files. I only get that UI for the wiki.

The button you sent is not visible when editing for me on md files such as the readme.md or any markdown file you create/upload in the repository.

Ah yes, the Wiki editor has some exclusive features/buttons that are not present in other markdown editors. I guess some of them could be enabled while editing markdown files in repos (but not on the comment editor on issues etc).

Yeah, if there was at least some of the text formatting buttons etc when editing markdown files in any repo for “non technical” users that would be great.

The UI for comments/issues etc is fine as it is IMO.
