I sometimes start vlc from the command line.

When I tried the Flatpak, it didn't install vlc in the PATH, only the desktop app. I tried putting alias vlc='flatpak run org.videolan.VLC' in my .zshrc, but then I didn't have completion.

Being on Kubuntu, I switched back to the Snap package.
