No video output in av1 playback

With flatpak version 3.0.19. if I am playing av1 video I am seeing no video output only black screen. However audio is fine.
If I change Hardware acceleration in codec from Automatic to Disabled. It works. I can see av1 video.
I think it's a problem with how Automatic Hardware acceleration works.

I have the same problem. It only happens to me in a session that uses X11, if I use Wayland everything works perfectly.
