The problems sheets have been created during the academic year 2018/2019. This is a modified and updated version of the original one.

Options for running the basic Jupyter notebooks

  • using a cloud server - COCALC (Collaborative Calculation in the Cloud, https://cocalc.com/)
  • locally on your computer (http://jupyter.org/install.html):
    1. Install Anaconda (Jupyter and Python, OS: Windows, Linux or MacOS)
    2. Install MATLAB using your ELTE e-mail account (or optionally Octave)
    3. Optionally - Set up the kernels of MATLAB or Octave
