I love purple as a colour but when it's purple text on a black background it not the best contrast. Can we up the brightness (whiteness) of the purple in our member dashboard?

Explanation: if you are viewing your screen in a blacked-out room (or you've got the display brightness turned up to the max) then your pupils will be wider and let in more light and so the purple lettering will be brighter. However, if you have thrown open the curtains on a sunny day then your pupils will contract and the purple lettering will almost look black. You can simulate this by squinting – a trick from my art school days.

Aim: have as much contrast between text and background as possible so as to be robust to different ambient lighting conditions.

Cheers!
