Linux CI has been failing for quite a while #668

It seem linux Ci has been failing for quite a while.

This is due to code coverage only being generated for linux and python 3.9, and the Github workflows changed around how to correctly pass secrets.

This lead to the codecov always failing due to a missing token for the codecov service.
