Looking at the 6.2 Installing and runiing Gunicorn p108, I believe that on current Debian, Ubuntu it is recommended to run apt-get install gunicorn. See http://docs.gunicorn.org/en/stable/install.html So some discussion of this option will be useful.
Also some discussion of the unix accounts would be good "Improved security: Can easily run each Gunicorn instance with a dedicated UNIX user/group."
