Game crashes/ doesn't respond when ball travels out of the arena

The game screen goes to black and stays that way when the ball goes out of the arena.
In the clip attached, I pressed space bar to jump off the arena. The ball can be seen falling down and disappearing from sight and the screen remains black and does not refresh.
