This seems rather basic for a gitlab runner :) But it's not currently actually support as most of the initial gitlab runners were mostly expected to deal with generated date (from artifacts). However especially for the lava runner it happens in cases where we end up doing a dummy job just to pull static yaml files into artifact for follow-up jobs to use :)
