Describe the bug
An infinite loop of "verify certificate requests" is being triggered during operation, causing excessive network calls and resource usage.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
attempt to verify a certificate
Observe the repeated requests in the network tab of the browser or server logs.
Expected behavior
The system should send a single verification request per certificate validation attempt and stop after receiving a valid response or encountering an error.
