Describe the bug
An infinite loop of "verify certificate requests" is being triggered during operation, causing excessive network calls and resource usage.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. attempt to verify a certificate
  2. Observe the repeated requests in the network tab of the browser or server logs.

Expected behavior
The system should send a single verification request per certificate validation attempt and stop after receiving a valid response or encountering an error.

Info (please complete the following information):

  • chrome
  • Version 131.0.6778.205

Additional context
The issue may be caused by a missing termination condition in the request loop or error handling logic not properly breaking out of the loop.
