Can you add a license to this repo ?

I suggest to use the Blue Oak Model license:

It fixes legal deficiencies of BSD and MIT licenses (the academic ones).
Also is a lot simpler than the Apache License 2.0 (although belonging to a bit different type of the Agreement-Style licenses).

Of course this is valid if the project would be fine going permissive.
If it's going to go the copyleft way, I am out of suggestions here:)
