Classic Rows + Compact Cards on Mobile Browsers?

When using “Classic Rows” for browsing, there are no gridlines or anyway to see one post to the next. They kind of just blend together while scrolling. When using “Compact Cards” for browsing, they’re actual cards but there’s no option to NOT have media fully expanded, thus ruining any idea of it being “compact” on mobile. My request is that you create a mobile view that utilizes elements from both of these views (compact individual cards with any media being no larger than a small thumbnail).
