This activity is created to document as many mobility sector use cases that can be implemented using beckn mobility implementations. The format of use cases is as follows
A beckn mobility implementation should help a [PERSONA], to be able to [OBJECTIVE] so that they can [OUTCOME]
To submit your use cases, please click the below link to the submission form.
A persona is a person playing a role in a specific situation. Examples of personas are
A student on his way to an examination
A daily commuter living 25 km away from his office
A cab driver stuck in traffic
A EV owner with low charge on their vehicle
The objective is the task to be completed by the person. Examples of objectives are
Book a ride
Find a parking spot
Identify areas of high demand
Search for nearby charging stations
The outcome is the result of the persona completing the objective. Examples of outcomes are
Reach college on time
Save travel time
Maximize vehicle utilization
Putting all of them together, we get some example use cases like
A beckn mobility implementation should help a daily commuter living 25 km away from his office, to be able to book a metro ticket from the nearest station so that they can reduce travel time and cost
A beckn mobility implementation should help a car owner flying out of town for a day, to be able to search and book a parking space near the airport, so that they can avoid paying high parking charges at the airport parking
A beckn mobility implementation should help a student on his way to an examination, to be able to book a multi-modal trip with the shortest duration, so that they can reach their destination before the exam begins
A beckn mobility implementation should help a taxi fleet operator, to be able to identify high demand density locations within the city, so that they can direct the taxi drivers to maximise their utilisation
A beckn mobility implementation should help a bus fleet operator, to be able to identify peak ridership time-slots within various routes, so that they can adjust the frequency of bus plying the routes
