Unable to Create QCTools XML After Capture

After updating to v20241018 of vrecord I am getting an error when files are finalizing and logs are created which results in a vrecord being unable to generate a QCTools XML. This error is occurring when I selection the option for the XML be made after capture not during capture like in Issue #850. All the other log files are created without issue. This is the error I am getting:

qctools XML /Volumes/Plan B/Heye/001.003_AV_065/001.003_AV_065.mkv.qctools.mkv is empty or does not exist!

Hi @bravoalphatango - if I'm reading your log correctly, it looks like you are capturing four channels of audio with that file? I think this is probably the same problem reported here where qctools crashes on four channel audio. Unfortunately, can't fix this in vrecord until that gets fixed upstream :(

Hi @bravoalphatango. This should be fixed with the new QCTools version. If you're using homebrew you can either upgrade (or install if not already installed) QCTools, then reinstall vrecord. This should work after that.
