mousecape running on big sur, used restore defaults, dump cursors, and now most of the cursor states are set to the arrow

Sulflix, that's quite a bummer. I don't know what may have caused this, but to try and you help out, I have included my own cursordump. You might want to unzip it first to get the .cape file. See what happens if you load this (and let me know). Cheers, Nord

Sulflix, that is the Wait from my favorite cursor set (Solara (by SkinPlant)), no idea how that got in there.
It should have been like screenshot.
I re-did the cursor dump and it is attached. Cheers, Nord

the "Wait" pinwheel is... still the one from the solara cursorset
is there something for completely resetting the cursors outright? because it looks like mousecape doesn't restore the original spinning pinwheel

I did some "searching" and tried several .cape files and then restored to default and did a cursor dump. It appears to depend on the previous cursor set how the wait cursor looks like, see screenshot.
This means either there is no Wait cursor in the original set or there is a slight "issue" with Mousecape to restore to default.
Would anyone here have a cursor set with all the original Apple cursors?
