Performance Issue in the SDK

I do not have enough credits to apply, so I thought I would put up a issue here? I would like to investigate and benchmark the SDK first to understand the bottlenecks of the system. Do we have an existing benchmark for this when this was developed? I would then try to profile and fix the system.
I suppose we would want to talk?
