Export just one DM conversation?

I'm using the program to export all interaction I have with another person via Discord (with their consent—they receive a copy), but I can't seem to figure out how to use the CLI to just export their conversation.
exportdm exports all conversations, and using export -c <relevant-id> fails. I even tried exportdm --filter in:<relevant-id> and that both took a long time AND didn't work.

Is there any function for that? Or will I have to download everything and then delete the others before sharing with them?

When trying to do it using the export -c <relevant-id> method, the error is:

The problem is that the "Copy ID" button in the DMs screen gives you the User ID, not the channel ID. Find the channel ID as described in https://github.com/Tyrrrz/DiscordChatExporter/wiki/Obtaining-Token-and-Channel-IDs#how-to-get-a-direct-message-channel-id
