Going forward, we should get started on new surrogate models. Some things to try

Remove the SVD decomposition and train the surrogates directly on the lightcurves
Train on the flux for afterglowpy
Try to reproduce the kilonovanet architecture
Try out Bayesian neural networks, e.g. https://github.com/ziatdinovmax/NeuroBayes/
