not showing free disk space on dashboard #77
Comments
There is a table with filesystem information, but it's not a very good overview as it repeats all states and something with the units that it shows is off, haven't figured out what exactly, but it's clearly not correct. I've improved it a bit by filtering it on free state. a single value panel is tricky because there are going to be multiple filesystems/mountpoints, but could be a graph maybe, with percentage calculation, did that as an alert. |
@Berdir Thanks for the reply. I agree about the filesystem information being off. I've decided to go with Zabbix as it has a better representation of the matrices out of the box. |
@Berdir please share which part of it is not correct. I believe it is is more likely a data problem than a panel problem. |
@srikanthccv i upload a image explaning what they are saying, I was trying to understand the disk size usage in gbs, but with the plot bellow I cant understand a thing. I know that the old dashboard on signoz as showing properly the disk usage along time. I wish I could see The total disk available to use plus the amount of actual disk being used then I could create alerts about vm reaching the max disk available space. I think that could be better having a timeseries of the disk usage rather than this table. |
We can see that the old dashboard of hostmetrics had a plot to watch this |
The dashboard does not show Used Diskspace and Available Diskspace on my dashboard.
