File Explorer could be on par with Material Files app.
Also commercial app called RS File Manager is a very good file manager.

Of course they are, in fact, all of what you've mentioned is already in my todo list. I'm a bit busy with studying meanwhile, so I'm focusing on fixing bugs only now, and then once I get a chance I'll be adding new features.

Features, functionality, usability, UI, versatility.

Functionality can be expanded without necessarily bringing new features.

Your app is in such a good shape by now I'm sure you'll make it a success - you have hand and eye for it.
