Detecting and recording earthquakes for analysis

Hi,

It seems like MSNoise is currenlty set up to discard earthquakes in the seismic records. This is completely understandable, but it seems like there is information in them that could be of great use in understanding variations in dv/v, because strong shaking can create changes in ground that will affect dv/v.

If the events times and magnitudes at each station were recoded they could then be plotted with dv/v to explain sudden changes and discrepencies with ground water level measurments.

I think that this would be a good addition to the workflow.
