There's a bug in PV where writing a new CudaKernel file breaks the setup of including one file for the 2 compilers (nvcc and mpicc). Currently, @maxtheiler worked around this issue by adding the new kernel into the existing HyPerLCAUpdateState.cu file. @peteschultz and @morae should have more information on this bug.
