Footnotes Issue

First of all, thank you so so much for this plugin. It's extremely useful!

The issue I found is that when having a footnote on a heading, the floating toc shows a straight number, as in CATEGORIES1 instead of either hiding it or showing the upper [1] at the end (I would rather hide it, if you ask me).

Is there anything that can be done? Maybe something that i can do through CSS instead of having to modify the code of the plugin?
