Please explain the concept

I have been doing this project using star war force trainer II too but don't understand what did you do and what should i do here is what i understand. By soldering T pin and GND to a wire and pluck in arduino we will receive 3 input in 1 wire which are 1.meditation 2. attention 3. signal quality and by using serial print directly i got the average of these 3 input, So we somehow need to decode each of them individually here is my question

1. how did you decode them individually meditation attention signal quality
2. why do we need that many buttons like what is it for? and can we process and decode all of them using only software like they use the library with star war force trainer I
3. what is the final result of your work look like? i wanna see it
