Open paths drawn with Pen Tool (P) are possible to be moved with Select Tool (V) and LMB.
This is not possible with paths made with Freehand Tool (N) - for these layers the translation only works when grabbing by the path itself but it does not work when grabbing by bounding box as it is with the Pen Tool paths.

I tested this on https://dev.graphite.rs/ version.

Thanks for reporting @j-jasz. The select tool allows you to drag shapes that are filled in. The pen tool creates shapes that are filled; the freehand tool doesn't.

It is a bit confusing if you have the default white background and white fill colour. I have changed the background colour to red for my demonstration.

Oh, indeed this is confusing. Maybe it would be better for the default path/shape to have a slight tint to communicate this better?
Just a thought.

@j-jasz I agree that the current method of filling and stroking is rather too complicated and having the white fill is rather confusing. I have added a note to #2356 (which involves redesigning this system).

I'm in agreement that this isn't the best choice of default colors. I've been working on the design in #2356 but it's an ongoing project, but I'll be sure to consider how the defaults fit in.
