Whenever I start my computer, there's probably about 3 things I would do on it. Either I work, I play some games or I do some browsing. For work I always have to have a few applications booted up to start. Even some webpages visited to get going. And on my multi-monitor setup, I also almost always place them at the same locations too.
For example, when I'm not doing work, I almost always launch my browser, my notes tool Notion, my emails, my chat and discord. When I'm working (as a frontend dev) I need my browser for running my applications locally, another browser for work tabs like Jira and Github, a command line, docker, vs code, git tool Fork. And almost every morning I keep smashing the same combination of keys and/or clicks to launch them.
It would be nice to have multiple profiles of applications to launch at the same time (or in sequence), perhaps even with certain properties (like what monitor to run on, whether to apply administrator rights, size of the window, what tabs to open in browsers). By running a single command, like "profile work", I could be using Flow Launcher to immediately get to work with everything I need.
I'm not entirely sure if it should just be a set of application or that Flow Launcher gives a new list of applications that I could launch with checkboxes on whether to launch them so you have even more control over what launches and have it be a bit more flexible since you might not need certain applications every time but a lot of the time.
Most often people recommend batch files or whatever but its often not very user friendly and easy to mess up.
