Help creating custom page

Hi, sorry if this isn't the proper channel for this. I love what you have done and i would like to start creating my own pages for the multi function display. But i'm very lost here, i don't know where to begin. I tried to read the documentation but i feel like i still lack some knowledge to start.

Reading the JSIScienceDisplay code i kind of understand how to render text on the screen but i don't know how to assign a button to show my page.

Any help would be appreciated
