These controllers don't seem to have the capacitative touch sensors, so the fingers are curled by default. Need to figure out a way to fix this.

I can confirm this is an issue with my Reverb G2. Is there any workaround at the moment?

@hughca The main problem here is that I don’t have the hardware to test with. If you are up for it, we could do some rapid iteration; just join the discord (see wiki) and we can work something out.

Cool, I'll jump on Discord on the weekend.
The G2 controllers each have two face buttons just like the Rift/Quest so perhaps a quick fix is just to hold one of those to extend the Index finger.
