Describe what you'd like to see

workflow:

• 1. User uploads a map image
• 2. User defines storage blocks on map, basically placing blocks/polygons
• 3. if map blocks not added to OQM database in previous step, map blocks are then associated with storage blocks
• 4. From there, in base station ui, users can:
  • view map, click on portions to goto storage block view (and from there goto items stored)
  • In block view, see map of where storage block is located
  • In item view, see where storage block is located

Making a standalone plugin to handle map creation/editing, with Base Station to integrate and display map.

Implementation notes:

• map block/design separate from OQM storage blocks; keep it flexible and modular. associate map blocks from OQM storage block side, utilizing key/value pairs.

'nonfunctional' concerns:

• Support large map sizes/ high zoom levels
