Looks like the issue with npm is that you are using it. :-)

We use yarn on this project and npm does not parse the yarn.lock file.

yes i tried to install the yarn install but even that is giving me error msg . i had the yarn 1.22.19 version and this is giving me this error . I tried using vscode terminal than command prompt and giving me same error as i am new to yarn i couldn't resolve it . And thanks for replying your website is a piece of art .

Thanks! I think I see the issue, the error digital envelope routines::unsupported during install is an annoying error I have been dealing with for ages. This error happens with Node >16 and the OpenSSL dependency. It's not clear to me how big this issue is but I have seen it happen to other libraries too and I am still looking for an easier fix. I will add another note about this in the README. Before running install you need to also run set NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider to use the older OpenSSL provider. If you Google for ERR_OSSL_EVP_UNSUPPORTED you can find others running into this.

Ya I will update the README this week with set NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider & yarn install. For a video I will do one eventually but I'd need to think of something besides setup because it takes seconds with the right commands. People using Node >16 have this one additional issue which won't exist forever, but I am happy to get more people trying out the app. I would say getting it going is the easiest part of doing anything with it. If you plan to edit any code or customize it, that will be more complex than this setup. One day, once I have turned this into a PWA and a Service Workers, I will be making it into a portable executable via something like Electron, then there will be no setup required anymore.
