Navigation item is not udpated with back button press

When I press the back button, I'm navigating to the previous composable but the navigation item is not updated.

When I'm at the Home screen, I navigate to List screen and press back button, I'm navigating to the Home screen but the navigation item is not udpated.

How can I do that?

Thanks for pointing this out. I have noticed it just now. You need to make some changes accordingly in the "BottomNavigationBar" composable. I will look into this for you when I have some time because right now I'm out of my country for a few weeks but still I'll try my best if I can help you with this.
