I am keen to test this with a suitable live CD on my C630 - but it's a bit too technical for me. Are there any prebuilt images available or step-by-step guides using an example live CD installer?

Hi falkor,
It's still very much in the alpha stage at the moment I'm afraid. I've
used it to install a number of distributions, but there are still
remaining issues to address. The main problem is that it doesn't
install a kernel or GRUB itself, so if there isn't a working update
from the distribution you're still have problems (you can use this
image to boot in to the installed system though). If you think you can
fix that yourself, then I can send you an image (have a 32GB image to
hand, if you need something smaller let me know). Been meaning to
write some documentation for the install process, so if you want to
give it a go I'll write something up in the next day or so.
Thanks,C
P.S. Have tried this with a number of distros, including Debian,
Ubuntu, Fedora and OpenSuse with good results. Did run into problems
with the latest Ubuntu though, their partitioner has a fit when trying
to deal with all the partitions on the internal drive so that one's
out for now.
