Hey @aammd,

Have we been assigned who we're peer reviewing for the read.me already? What's our marking criteria and when are we supposed to complete this by?

Thanks,
Katherine

Hi Katherine & @BIOL548O/2017_students ,

The first Peer Review announcement went up last night! The point of this peer review is to practice two things: 1) discussing our dataset in plain language and 2) interacting via github.

You should have received notification -- as a Github issue and an accompaying email -- that you have been assigned to review someone. Please let me know ASAP if you do not know who you are reviewing

The issue itself contains a link to a Google Form, where you will be asked two questions about your reviewee's README. These questions supply the rubric -- this time it is very simple, but the next two peer reviews will have much info.

Peer reviews are due by 23:59 on Thursday.

Hey @aammd,

I did not get an email. I'm assuming it should have been sent to the email we signed up our account with. Let me know if there's something that I'm missing. Should I be able to find the same information on my home page? I'm not sure where to look.

Katherine

Hi @katcheung , if you go to the organization page

https://github.com/BIOL548O

You should see a few repositories (about 5 I think?). Some of these are public, and contain class content. There should also be two private ones -- one belonging to you, one to your reviewee. To fill in the review, go to your reviewee's repo and click on "Issues"

Hi @aammd ,

So, I have an issue in my repository assigning someone to peer review my assignment and has a link to the google form so technically I have received that. However, there is no issue in my reviewee's repository for me to reply to (as per the instructions). Would it be ok if just made my own post with comments? Or am I just not looking in the right place? Thanks!

Jasmin
