Files with german 'Umlauts'

I wanted to uploud a file from my NextCloud space to a course that has a 'ä' in its name an get the following
error.

Within NextCloud the file is accessable.
Uploads of other files work fine.

We ran into this same issue with hungarian characters like: "áéőúűöüóí".
