This is an ongoing process.
Vanilla "generic" events fit into four category for this mod:

Needed with slight adjustments (e.g. character death)
Needed equivalent that needs to be made from scratch (border conflicts, strikes, etc.)
Usable with adjustments for late game nation-states (election events involving nation-state IGs, communism)
Usable general idea/situation, but needs to be remade from scratch (rubber discovery, gold discover, anything involving agitators, slave revolts)
Useless
