Coal Dust not Interchangeable

Coal dust made from Coal Ore in Railcraft Rock Crusher is not interchangeable with Coal Dust made from Coal in Macerator. Thumbnail for each appears slightly different, with the Macerator product slightly lighter in colour. The two dusts are not interchangeable in Autocrafting recipes.

Do you know how I would address this?

Not sure. Is there a way to add a variation to a recipe, using metadata? I don't code, so may not be using the correct terminology. Alternatively, add a second recipe for the same item using the other coal dust. I cannot remember which recipe I was using, probably solar panel.
